Have you heard that a butterfly pea flower helps grow hair and eyebrows?
The majority of Thai people believe this flower can grow hair on skin!
I would explain what is a butterfly pea flower. It is a native flower in Thailand. People is usually used for food coloring, cooking and as a hair treatment. However, it appears on those children’s eyes browns!!
Traditionally, ancestors recognized it for its medicinal benefits, which include its anti-depression, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties. The blue concentrate added to hair products also promotes healthy hair growth. Today, butterfly pea is widely used in Thailand as a hair wash and as a natural alternative to hair dye. Studies have shown the flower to be a rich source of anthocyanin – a polyphenol antioxidant also found in red grapes, making it much more beneficial to consume as well to apply topically (Asia spa, 2010).
There is no evidence prove that this flower helps grow hair or eyebrows or not. However, my family still believe that it helps!
