5 Top Places in NYC to Celebrate Christmas!

It’s no secret that New York City is known for their extravagant holiday celebrations. Here are a few top places in NYC to help you get into the holiday spirit!

1) Macy’s Herald Square

Macy’s has always been the center of many holiday traditions in New York so it’s no surprise that they go all out during the holiday season. It all starts with the iconic Macy’s holiday windows that surround the store. The windows tell a magical holiday story using animatronic characters and catchy music. Inside the store you’ll find a ton of sparkling decorations plus a full floor of north pole inspired décor. You can even meet Santa and Mrs. Clause!

2) Bryant Park

If you’re looking for some festive holiday shopping, head over to the Bryant Park Holiday Shops. These pop up stands showcase vendors from all over selling delicious food and gifts for everyone. The environment is full of holiday cheer with festive music a huge lit up Christmas tree and a massive ice rink with plenty of ice skaters. Be sure to stop by Max Brenner’s for their mouthwatering hot chocolate.

3) Saks Fifth Avenue

Along with the beautiful, festive windows of Saks Fifth Avenue, they are also known for their infamous holiday light show. The whole front of Saks, is transformed into a multiple story tall celebratory show that lights up fifth avenue and dances to jolly music. Being across the street from Rockefeller Center, this show is in a well-known area and goes off every few minutes.

4) Radio City Music Hall

Radio City Music Hall is one of the most famous venues in the world. Home to the Radio Christmas Spectacular featuring the Radio City Rockettes, a show at Radio City is sure to get anyone in the holiday spirit.

5) Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center is a must see during the holiday season.   4. This was awesome! Ive lived in NY all my life and seeing the Tree never gets old! its one of my favorite parts about Christmas in NYC
