It’s the Most Wonderful Time of The Year!

The time is finally here! This week the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will finally be lit! There is no better way to bring in the holiday season than the 85th lighting of the most popular Christmas tree in the country. This Wednesday starting at 8PM on NBC, Christmas in Rockefeller Center will kick off the biggest New York holiday season tradition. Hosted by NBC anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Rocker, Rockefeller Plaza will transform into a musical holiday concert with performances from today’s top musical influencers. A few of nights performers include Brett Eldredge, Pentatonix, Gwen Stefani and of course an appearance from the infamous Radio City Rockettes!

My favorite part about living in New York has always been how big New Yorkers celebrate the holidays. There nothing I love more than walking up fifth avenue with all the holiday décor and lights in full swing. The energy on the streets is always busy and energetic with children excited with anticipation for Santa’s arrival. That first glance of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree is the most magical site of all. If you’re new to New York I strongly suggest taking a walk over to the plaza. This sight will be sure to get you into the holiday spirit and will be sure not to disappoint!

You should go to Bryant Park! They have a tree and ice skating too. They also have a holiday village with all different shops and food.
