My sister is currently eight months pregnant with her first child so we decided to throw her a surprise baby shower. My twin brother and I love planning events so we were the ones in charge.
Since we live in the city, our mom made sure to order the food and invite all of the family. We got home on Friday, the night before the Baby Shower. Throughout the night, we prepared all of the desserts and created a snapchat filter for her party. Since our sister came to visit us that night, we weren’t able to purchase anything until the morning of the Baby Shower.
We originally agreed to wake up at nine in the morning. We accidentally overslept and woke up at eleven. The guests were scheduled to arrive at one so we quickly got ready and went to Party City. We bought decorations like balloons, candy and a banner. We got home a little after twelve and quickly began decorating the house. Our cousins arrived a little early and were able to help us out.
Everyone came on time to surprise my sister, who got home around two. She was definitely surprised and was grateful for everyone. Overall, the Baby Shower was a success! We ate, played games and hung out with family!
