Study Abroad has changed me.

I have been New York for five months. Since I came to the United States a lot of friends have asked me about my “new” life. Personally, I think study abroad can be enriching, not only that we can learn a new language, know more different cultures, but also can learn more about ourselves. Here are four aspects that study abroad changed me.

Studying abroad makes me more realistic. I will not waste my time on people or things that not worthy it anymore and everything that I do has a definite purpose.

Studying abroad makes me more tolerant. what is called gap. Cultural differences are much greater than I thought. The only thing that I can do is to accept and be tolerant. Respect other people and their traditions will foster cooperation and peace.

Studying abroad makes me much stronger. Bear being lonely, endure pressure and homesick. I start become like to challenge myself and try everything new.

Studying abroad makes me more industrious. All the things can’t be delayed and I must try my best to finish it.

I know my “new” life is continue and I will enjoy every day in here whatever is good or not. Meanwhile I also believe that New York will affect me more than I think. As for me people can change and it is much easier to change when you are away from your family.
