When the Travel Bug Bit Me

Ever since I moved to this amazing city, I’ve been trying to explore not only NYC but also the surrounding areas. There are a few limitations, because I don’t earn enough money and I travel between three to four times a year to my homeland.IMG_6280
Last year I traveled to Jamaica with Nama, my friend who I met at work. We were there for only four days, because we it was a busy time at work. I was thankful to travel, because most of my colleagues didn’t get the time off.

We flew Thursday morning from Jfk, there are quite a few flight from Jfk to Jamaica so we didn’t have any problems (we had stand by tickets). We stayed at a hotel named “Grand Palladium Jamaica” located in Montego Bay. The hotel has one of  the largest pools in Jamaica, as well as 13 bars, 7 restaurants, 3 buffet restaurants, a spa, a casino, and so much more.

The goal for this trip was just relaxing, laying on the beach, dipping our toes in the pool, and drinking unlimited alcohol. The reservation was all inclusive, so we didn’t have to pay anything at the hotel. We ate a lot one particular item I became obsessed with was Plaintain, which I didn’t stop eating, yummy.

What’s your plans for winter break? I know my next stop is DR.

Looks really relaxing! I’m going back to Norway, which is freaking cold! I would rather lay on a beach 🙂

      Are you planning a visit?

I already planned to visit London, which will be as cold as NY i think! So no warm countries until spring or summer. I really want to visit Tel Aviv to be honest in the summer! Are you from there originally?
