Trick or Treat!
This upcoming Halloween season will fall right after our midterms wrap up.There will be a need for a night of fun. Even if Halloween is not your thing, you can still find something enjoyable about the day. These are the three things I have on my wish list for this month, and hope to experience at least one.
- The Ghosts of the Upper West Side Tour, which is put on by Ghost of NY Tours, is described as being a guided walking tour from Central Park West to the other side of Central Park. It promises “the ghost of John Lennon” at the end of the tour.
- Halloween Murder Mystery, held at Mount Vernon Hotel Museum and Garden, which is located 421 E 61st St. According to the hotel website, guests will have the opportunity to wander through the historical hotel, seeking out clues based on a real event, to find out the culprit of the murder.
- Sleep No More NYC, is an interactive performance held at the McKittrick hotel, and although it is not meant just for the Halloween season, it does deliver on the chills. Upon entrance you are given a mask to wear for the duration of the show. Rather than sit and spectate, one wanders through out the different floors of the hotel to watch to story unfold, the actors may even engage with you.
If you find yourself at one of these or a place just as frightful, share your experience!
Last week I got slightly
stuck on the subway.
Catch Up on it here!

I really want to go to Sleep No More, I heard it’s very good! Thanks for the info, Halloween is gonna be fun.
Thank you! and I have wanting to go for years, I enviously look at everyones pictures with their masks, and constantly read reviews. One day I will make it to a showing!!
Haha tell me if you do, I might join you!
I like to dress up like a ghost and walk around, but it is so cold on Halloween without jacket.
love that idea, that is a classic costume! Hopefully this halloween won’t be so chilly
That’s a nice list, in my opinion more related to Halloween than dressing up. Has anyone been to sleep no more?
Thank you! I am hoping someone in the class has seen it – if not we should all make a plan to go 🙂 🙂
sounds like a plan! 😉
