Does the Universe Exist Because of Human Beings?

02bbt8jLast night while I was lying on bed, a question was circling around my head which I couldn’t get rid of. Does the universe exist because of human beings?

You may say, certainly the universe itself exists. Human being lives in this substantive time and space. A hypothesis, however, may break this mind-set.

Let us assume that there is a parallel universe named A. There are
galaxies, stars, planets and various contents in this universe A while only one thing is missing, living organisms. There are no intelligent creatures in this universe A. In other words, no one could possibly observe this universe. So how do you prove this universe is real, or objectively persists?

If you can not prove a universe without human observing truly exists, can we come to the conclusion that our universe is not universe A because our world is determinated to have living creatures evolved who consequently and subjectively accept the existence of this universe? Does the certainty of having intelligent creatures like human beings in this universe make it meaningful and thus truly existed?

Though your thoughts are interesting, I still did not quite get the answer if the universe is created my human beings? You talk about living organs, or the lack of it, but what was your thought behind the question of humans created it?

    1. Human beings didn’t creat it. What I am trying to say is that the universe looks like what it is right now because of the existence of human beings; otherwise, the universe will not look like what it is right now.

It is deep, but it is interesting. I belive that there is another planet existing intelligent creatures. 🙂

    1. Yes, but i think human beings will never find any intelligent creatures in this universe.

That’s a good question. I have always have hypothesized that we are a never ending cycle, and we might not be the only ones on the universe. There are myriad of galaxies out there , and ours is not even a grain of salt. I would suggest to you to see Cosmos on Netfix

    1. Thank you! I would love to watch a Tv series about our universe! And I have a software to share with you, called “SpaceEngine”. You can download in here . It is free and you are supposed to find out any planet in this universe by yourself!

Wow Richard, you picked a very deep topic and you approach it quite philosophically! It’s always hard to answer these questions, I also agree with Bianca on this one.

    1. Thank you, Can. I always want to figure out some basic questions about human beings and the world we live in. I think a lot of questions can not be answered by science only, philosophy and religion can help us understand the world and solve those basic questions.
