Last night I went to the Brooklyn Night Bazaar. The BNB is basically, as my friend put it, hanging out in a warehouse with a bunch of hipsters. The atmosphere is very cool, its almost like an inside carnival for young adults. There are different kinds of food, from pizza to empanadas to honey glazed pork, there are baked goods, cotton candy, and drinks.
The BNB has several types of activities. There’s glow in the dark mini golf, ping pong, arcade video games etc. My favorite part is that there is live music. Also, it’s pretty cool that they don’t ask for a cover charge. We knew the guy that worked at the coat check and the mini golf, so we got that free too. A good tip is to bring cash. Not all places take cards, they have an ATM machine but it charges like $3.50 per transaction. There are many cute stations, most of them sell jewelry. It’s actually beautiful jewelry, I liked most of the pieces.
It’s open from 7pm to 1 am Fridays and Saturdays. The plan was to leave around 9:30, I didn’t think it would take longer than a few hours to check out the place. We ended up leaving at 11:30, time just flew by. I had a great time, the Brooklyn Night Bazaar is truly a great place to hang out.
