Chinese New Year is coming soon, and it supposed to be an exciting festival for Chinese. However a lot of young people feel anxious during Chinese New Year. Because during the festival young people will be asked uncountable annoying questions by relatives and ”friends”. Here are 3 questions that young people usually being asked.
1. How is your grades? / How is your kid’s grades?
If you are a student or your kid is a student in China you definitely will be asked this question. I’ve been through since I was 6 years old till I graduated from high school.
2. How much is your salary?
If you think you can finally enjoy your holiday since you are not a student anymore, and you are wrong. If you have a job now, and you will be asked this question. It’s not enough to tell your salary because they will ask you more questions like do you own a car? When will you buy a house?
3. Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?
If you answered Yes, and then they will ask you when are you going to married.
If you answered NO, and they will ask you why you don’t find a boyfriend/girlfriend, and tell you that you should find someone/ I know someone is good and let me introduce him/her to you.
After being through ”interrogation” every year, a lot of young people came up some ideas to deal with those annoying relatives. But being asked plenty of private questions is so annoying, and this circumstance not only happened in China but also happened in some places of Asia.
