Since yesterday, the 6th of May, France has a new president: Francois Hollande. For me, it is definitely a good thing and a change that France needs so deeply. Start to the 15th of May Nicolas Sarkozy is not gonna be the president anymore. Hollande represents the left hand of the French politic. He is socialist such as will be the new government. We don’t know yet who will be the prime minister and all the new government. We will have all these information when Hollande will be the official French president, the 15th of May, day of his investiture. Before Hollande, we had only one French socialist president under the V Republic : Francois Mitterrand to 21st May 1981from 17th May 1995. This election is a big step for French, an election of hope and changes. Yesterday nigh a lot of French people was all together in different place to celebrate this new president. Personally, I am glad of this result, I really want some tolerance, open mindedness, and unification between French people. Hollande is definitely able to do that.
Now, we have to see how he is gonna manage the economic crisis, but I am sure he’ll be capable to gather the French population.
