And the oscar goes to The Artist !
That is what we heard this Sunday 26 th February. the film of the year is definitely this one : The Artist has won more than 75 awards such as three Golden Globes (The US), seven BAFTAs (UK) , six Césars (France), one Goya (Spanish) et five Oscars (The US). this french film directed by Michel Hazanavicius is a homage to the American movies and more especially Charlie Chaplin’s performances. The particularity of this movie = there are no sounds and no colors. This film is very moving and all the actors are incredible, especially the dog !
A special applauses to Jean Dujardin; the main actor of the film. His performance is great, and it is really unusual to watch a movie like that in 2012. That is why this movie has created a surprise for everybody!
Moreover; Jean Dujardin has been rewarding by many price such as The Oscar for the best actor, the first time for a french actor !
You have to rush to go see it, a beautiful and unexpected movie, definitely the film of the year very simple but very touching.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but the promos are really good. And as you pointed out, it is unusual to see such a movie in 2012 especially in the age of sci fi movies. Also it feels good to see the highest regarded awards show celebrating simplicity!
Yeah it seems like a very interesting movie. I have to see what all the hype is about. Does it have subtitles?
