The WWF calls us tomorrow, Saturday, March 27, was off all lights for one hour from 20.30.

For the 4 th consecutive year, Earth Hour Operation, 60 minutes for the planet, will be launching a wave dark and then traverse the entire globe from east to west. Compared to last year, the operation now has more than 100 countries (against 88 nations in 2009).

The action is simple: turn off any light source for an hour. The aim is largely symbolic: its interest in protecting the environment. It is aimed at individuals who may also register on the site to display publicly its intention to participate. On Friday afternoon, more than 5.6 million people have affixed their names to the list.

The nations are not the only ones able to participate, in fact more than 5,000 cities in the world would also engaged in the operation. For example, we put out 240 Paris monuments to 20h30 exactly, and the Eiffel Tower will be too dark for 5 minutes.
